I recently spent Christmas at Le Campagnard, and despite being a tad more expensive than I anticipated, the experience turned out to be genuinely lovely. Initially, I was a bit disappointed when they tried to place me near the highway, but the staff were wonderful, and I ended up in a cozy room with breathtaking views of the St Lawrence River-such an enchanting way to relax after a day of fishing or hiking. The sunset from my room was a real showstopper, and I appreciated the little touches, like a flat-screen TV and a coffee maker. It's conveniently close to nature, perfect for outdoor activities, and the owners really made the stay memorable. I'd definitely return, ideally with friends to share this gem overlooking the beautiful Canadian landscapes!
